Amy Haberman

Amy Haberman

Amy has been a math teacher for the Hillsboro School district for 16 years. She enjoys working with young people to help them make connections between school work and future applications. Amy is looking forward to experiencing the camp as a learner as well as a teacher. She is especially excited to see the creative work that the young girls will be producing as camp participants. Amy has been a dancer most of her life, has two children, and loves to read in her downtime.

Diann Espinoza

Diann Espinoza

Diann is a mom of six; one girl and five boys. She studied at George Fox University and earned her bachelor of science in Biology in 1990. She then married and worked as a chemist for a few years in a food, water and soil analysis lab. When her first born came, Diann dedicated myself to raising her family full time. Last spring she began her studies at Pacific University to earn a MAT and is now a middle school math and science teacher.

Lyn Philiben

Lyn Philiben

Lyn is a middle school mathematics teacher with the Bend-La Pine School District. She holds a bachelors degree in business and French from the University of San Diego and later earned a master's degree in teacher education (MTEP) from Eastern Oregon University. In her teaching Philiben actively demonstrates a deep seated belief that all students can learn mathematics. She is an enthusiastic teacher and deeply devoted to empowering her students with a love for the subject and a conviction that they can and will succeed academically.

Robin Stalcup

Robin Stalcup

In 6th grade, Robin decided to earn a PhD and in 9th grade discovered she loved biology. After a brief attempt at the United States Coast Guard Academy, Robin studied biology at Linn-Benton Community College and University of Oregon. Robin studied virology and public health at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In 2008, she decided to become a secondary science teacher and now teaches 7th grade science, biology, integrated science, and physics at Riverside High School in Boardman, Oregon.
